What a year it has been! The EPS Security team has been out and about in our communities doing our best to give back and provide as the quintessential life safety and security resource. We have partnered with local community groups, regional media affiliates, our partners in law enforcement/fire departments and some of our amazing customers!
We began the year in northern Michigan at Tom’s Food Market of Interlochen. We were invited to join their Emergency Services Day and attended to help spread valuable life safety information with local northern Michigan fire departments and first responders. We continued that effort with West Michigan WOTV4’s annual Maranda Park Parties throughout the summer.
There we provided McGruff Safe Kids fingerprint id kits for all families in attendance. This year our team distributed nearly 2,500 kits to those who stopped by! 
EPS also brought McGruff the crime dog to National Night Out, an annual life safety and law enforcement community event, to spread more valuable safety news!
EPS is always there to help our local law enforcement partners celebrate their communities by giving back.
In a similar effort, EPS partnered with Marc and Violet of the KlaasKids foundation to provide electronic ID and fingerprint identification for families at the Grand Rapids Public School’s ‘Back-To-School celebration’. What a surprise it was to have a mother show up with her 22 year old daughter who had the same fingerprint process done twenty years ago!
