Options to Meet with Strict Compliance Requirements

Passing inspections is crucial

It’s why we are committed to doing our part to help our customers meet the various compliance requirements they might encounter.

Compliance with fire protection standards

Businesses expand and cities regularly update their fire code requirements for businesses. You need a fire alarm system that can adapt accordingly. At EPS, we are well-versed in designing, installing, monitoring, and inspecting commercial fire alarm systems for any sized business. We are a Diamond-level Notifier integrator, Platinum-level Honeywell Authorized Security Dealer and our technicians and engineers hold some of the highest certifications and training available for fire alarm systems.

Fire inspections are mandatory and are required on an annual, and sometimes quarterly, basis. If you have a fire alarm system from EPS, one of our expert technicians can conduct the inspection for you.

They will test all fire alarm devices such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, hand pulls, strobes, and horn strobes for sensitivity range, power, and other code required functionality. Beyond being required, annual fire testing allows for optimal fire alarm system performance.

Compliance with standards set by insurance policies

Insurance is just a part of doing business. But why not work with a security company who can help make the process of complying with the standards set by insurance policies as easy as possible?

A security system from EPS can help you meet liability coverage requirements. Our Monitoring Center utilizes state-of-the-art technology and holds the highest certifications in the industry. It is the only Underwriters’ Laboratory (UL)-listed facility in the state of Michigan and one of roughly a dozen monitoring centers in the United States to meet three standards of excellence: UL-listed, Factory Mutual (FM) – approved, and Five Diamond Certified by The Monitoring Association.

A monitored alarm system from EPS can also assist in reducing premiums on your insurance policy.
