The certification represents the highest qualification a fire alarm system design professional can earn.

EPS SECURITY RAISES $10,000 FOR KIDS' FOOD BASKET AND D.A. BLODGETT

West Michigan’s leading security provider, EPS Security, recently held a FREE child fingerprinting event at John Ball Park and encouraged families to participate by pledging a $20 donation to local charities--$10 each to Kids’ Food Basket and D.A. Blodgett. Nearly 500 kids participated in the Sept. 17 event, allowing EPS to donate a $5,000 check this week to each of the West Michigan-based non-profit organizations.

Engineered Protection Systems, Inc. (EPS Security), West Michigan's leading commercial and residential security company, has expanded its technical sales team with the addition of Ed Blanton and Alex Livieratos as territory sales consultants.

Jennifer Hayes joins EPS as an Enterprise System Sales Representative.

Hayes joins the Enterprise System Group at EPS focusing primarily on integrated, network driven security systems most commonly deployed in large-scale facilities and campus environments. Hayes will be responsible for the development and management of new and existing client relationships across Michigan, and will report directly to Russell Cross, manager of the Enterprise System Group.

David Hood appointed Director of Sales and Marketing.

Hood will provide strategic support to the growing EPS sales department, in addition to overseeing the implementation of several new marketing initiatives currently planned for 2009.

Kevin Carlson appointed as president.
